Tesoros Waorani is a relatively new venture that started partnering with VVMI in late 2024. Based in Idaho, USA, Tesoros is working closely with the Waorani people of eastern Ecuador to create audio and video resources in their language. These will ultimately be used by local Christians for teaching and story and film creation. Although the people group of some 2700 persons already has the Bible in their language, only a small percentage are true believers, while many profess faith but cling to their traditional animistic worldview. Perhaps God will use vernacular videos and other Christian media to break through the darkness to reach a new generation?
